Supply and Onsite fabrication of a customized stage overhead Mild Steel safety grid to ensure optimal weight distribution over the stage
Designed and fabricated onsite to accommodate site-specific conditions and ensure optimal weight distribution over the stage, this grid system is intended to enhance safety for both performers and the audience by providing structural support for various stage elements, including heavy-duty stage lighting bars, vertical side ladders, stage wings, frills, and motorized curtain tracks. The grid will be equipped with a cavity of 12mm to facilitate easy and flexible placement and adjustment of equipment, with sliding capabilities for repositioning. The structure will be supported by 12mm carbon steel/stainless steel fasteners suspended from the ceiling and side walls as required, with L-shaped 40x40x5 mm Mild Steel Angles, or 50 x 5 mm flats as needed, if required, the load may also be distributed to the proscenium. All work will be carried out in accordance with architectural drawings and the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC), utilizing the necessary tools, machinery, manpower, staging, and consumables to ensure completion.
